The monthly Church Council meeting was postponed to this Tuesday evening at 7:30 at the church. If you have agenda items, contact Council Chair Eric Knapp.
The White River Cheyenne Churches will be hosting the annual meeting of the Central Plains Mennonite Conference Thursday through Sunday near Ashland, Montana. Susan Knapp, Bill Baughman, Barbara Baughman and Darrell Zook will be delegates representing PMC and Sam Knapp will be the PMC youth delegate at the conference. The pastor will be leaving early Tuesday morning for a stop in Colorado on the way to conference and returning late Sunday or Monday. For pastoral care contacts while he is away, contact Keith Amstutz or Dave Schooley.
Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) volunteers have been working in Oklahoma, helping in the communities of Shawnee, Pecan Valley, Bethel and Carney after the Oklahoma tornadoes of May 19 and 21. See the church bulletin board for a full MDS report. And, be aware of a scam alert with someone calling for funds on behalf of MDS. MDS does NOT solicit funds via telephone.
